Egg Freezing

LEARN MORE

Some patients may need to consider eggs freezing. This can be due to congenital conditions (i.e. born with the condition) or acquired (for example endometriosis, chemotherapy or radiation therapy).

Freezing the eggs allows use in the future. Please discuss with Dr Sem if this option is suitable for you.

Artificial Insemination

LEARN MORE

IVF is short of in-vitro fertilisation. In essence, several eggs will be fertilised outside the body. The resulting embryos are then monitored, and development is assessed over a period of time. Usually five days later, if suitable, one is placed into the uterus of the woman or person undergoing treatment in a procedure called an embryo transfer.
